WOOTS! Exams are over!!

As i’m sure you have already realised, I havent blogged in quite a while. Not since the end of my exams, no. I have not yet expressed my elation and utter glee but I guess that feeling has since subsided. Thanks to my neighbours Nick and Joel, I’ve been on a fervernt frenzy playing Dota hours at a go. And when night falls, we adjourn for supper and continue into the twilight with a board game or 2 of The Settlers of Catan – endearingly termed WHEAT by Guoyong (because he always seems to want wheat).

And today, OF ALL DAYS, it has to rain. You know how Murphy loves to visit us at the most inopportune time? Like, 2 weeks of exam and there wasn’t a drop of rain. And when we finish and plan a sentosa trip, it POURS! What’s wrong with Murphy? In any case we did have a good time, and thanks to Steph I’ve got more than what I bargain for – approximately 5 minutes of embarrassing air time while she enthusiastically filled in some Siloso Search thingie on my behalf… Not to mention I inadvertently sprained my toe while playing frisbee… I was attempting to chase and catch a stray throw when I incidentally kicked someone’s heel. Great. Now it has swelled nearly 1.5 times its original size and I can barely walk, let alone run. How am I gonna train for my IPPT, which is just in a couple of days time? Anyway I’ll post up the pictures WHEN i do get hold of the pictures…

Anyway, I’ve been catching up with my regular web comic entertainment. They are pretty funny if you ask me, notwithstanding the fact that they take AGES to come up with subsequent chapters… Here is a sample from the Order of the Stick, which happens to be a comedy pegged to Dungeons and Dragons. Fantasy and MMORPG players should enjoy this quite a bit…

Some parts are really hilarious. Do have a read here at Giant in the Park. For those who prefer more intricate graphics, there’s Flaky Pastry, a comic laced with sex and innuendo… Here is a sample.

Since this is a family site, I shall not post up the chapters baring skanky women in suggestive battle stances… But then again, there’s NO NUDITY so please don’t expect this to be some hentai cat fight.
